if you would like to migrate all account information, why not setup a LDAP slave on the target server and it will replicate all account information.
Then use the script to copy all things

Does this copy the users to the new server?

If it doesn't, how would I transfer the users and passwords to the new server?

I am just migrating zimbra from centos4 to ubuntu8.

    Thanks

The script does not copy users nor their password.
You have to create the users in the target server(their are plenty of scripts available!)

You should not do that as the product are different, use the backup facility in NE to backup your accounts etc.

I have backups of this zimbra ne, but zimbra open source dont have a restore option.
hinyinlam says that his script can do that.

I try to do the commands one per one in the console and i have no erros until this command:
    /usr/bin/ionice -n 7 -c 3 /opt/zimbra/bin/mysql --protocol=socket --socket=/opt/zimbra/db/mysql.sock

    The error:
Ignoring given class data for idle class
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/zimbra/db/mysql.sock' (2)

This command is in Target.sh and I run on the open source Zimbra server

    thx!

I think I already know the the OSS version has no restore function. What, exactly, are you trying to achieve?

I have a working demo of Zimbra NE with a few accounts (20 to 25) the demo was 60 days which was more or less the time needed to evaluate the product and try to implement it with other systems. The operation will extend more than expected and wanted to continue operating with the same accounts. migrating calendars, tasks and emails to the open version. We need to move to the open version, because now do not approve the expenditure of the NE version.

Sorry for my english, my first languaje is spanish.
    Thx!

All you need to do in that case is to run the Zimbra OSS installer on your NE server and it will 'upgrade' to the OSS version, no need for a migration. Block incoming mail on port 25 and make a backup using NE backup tool and a copy of the /opt/zimbra directory structure (you should shutdown Zimbra for this) before the upgrade. When you've run the upgrade script unblock port 25.
    Regards
