I am very close to finally finishing my Zimbra migration. I ran a test on my server and now have some problems. I remember this issue 8+ months ago but I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for. I know this has been covered but I'm struggling to find what I need.
I simply ran the following as the zimbra user:
Then restart zimbra. I'm locked out from my admin user and all other accounts. Oops. So I ran the same command but reversed it, then restarted zimbra. No good, still locked out. Oh crap! I know there is an easy fix but I can't recall it. When I try to log into the admin console it just hangs at the 'Loading...' phase.
zmprov -l renameDomain currentdomain.com newdomain.com
My ultimate goal is to change the domain name. I'm at the tail end of a migration. I have my old mail server routing emails to my new zimbra mail server. My domain I want to use is lambesis.com but I am using abe.lambesis.com on the zimbra mail server, then routing emails from the old server over to Zimbra. So, I want to remove abe.lambesis.com and change to lambesis.com on the Zimbra server. That's all.
