I'm using zimbra migration wizard for exchange, it create users on the zimbra
server using the email address, but in the active directory accounts are
different then AD based authentication doesn't work.
For example my samAccountname id is lfasci and my userPrincipalName is
lfasci@myaddomain on Active Directory while my email address is

The wizard creates lorenzof that doesn't exists on Active Directory so the
zimbra server can't authenticate me.
I have to manually create the account lfasci on zimbra, assign canonical
address and create an alias lorenzof@seacom.it.

I opened the bug some time ago but still no news
