    Default ZC***changeMigrationWizard troubles

I have googled up entries with problems similar to what I have but haven't come to any working solution. Perhaps it is buried somewhere in this forum but I can't seem to stumble onto it.

ZCS is the leading candidate to replace our current troublesome Exchange mail system so I have zcs-5.0.14_GA_2850 set up on a vanilla install of SLES 10.2 (x86_64) for evaluation using a mixture of Windows, Linux and Mac clients. All seems great and everyone is happy but for the final step, I need to migrate existing user mailboxes from Exchange into ZCS.

I am using ZC***changeMigrationWizard-5.0.14_GA_2849 on a Windows XP SP3 workstation as the migration client. Exchange is 2003 on a Windows 2003 SP2, Std Edition server.

I run through the wizard and everything goes smoothly until I select to actually do the migration.

Here is my m2l.log file contents (less timestamps):
    [3036]: ZC***changeMigrationWizard-5.0.14_GA_2849 Version 5.0

What am I missing? Where is the connection failing? Where do I go next?

the log shows that tool is failing to connect to Zimbra Server over http. Could you please check if the connection from migration machine to Zimbra server is stable and not dropping frequently.

I haven't been able to detect any connection problems and the client (my workstation) and the sandbox server are sitting side-by-side connected to the same network switch plus I have watched the connection transaction with wireshark and other than not being able to read the encrypted transmissions, everything looks as I would expect.

If it helps to know, yesterday I migrated one user mailbox using the pst import wizard. The mailbox had over 50k items totaling more than 500MB and completed successfully. Total wall-time for that single mailbox was over 6 hours.

Does the pst impost wizard use a different connection than the migration wizard?

    Cheers,
    Paul
