It has new additional like modifying your personal metadata in the Global Address List (i.e. Active Directory) as well as cross browser enhacements that it did not have before. So if you compare, you really need to list your requirements and compare the latest version of Zimbra to the latest version of Exchange 2010 especially on the web access side of things.
I am personally glad to see Zimbra in the picture. It makes all companies force themselves to be more innovated around messaging...
