Default Zimbra web-based migration tool with IMAP server ?

    Hello all,

Aside from the zmprov / imapsync method, I'm wondering how I can use the web based migration tool for migrating mailboxes from an IMAP server to my Zimbra servers.

In the web-admin console, there's this socalled "account migration tool" where the wizard is telling me I can use the "IMAP server" type as a source, and asks me for an XML file...

But I can't find any info about what internal format should be that XML file (except for Exchange to Zimbra migration, not the same)

Anybuddy has info on this ?

And anybody knwos why the *hell* do They remove that so easy-to-use CSV import wizard that was existing in zimbra 6.x web admin ???

I'm looking for the same thing. I'm attempting to migrate from Rackspace but need to move all the email over. This would be a huge help if it works!!

IMAPSYNC is really your best option. We tried the others, but IMAPSYNC is the best. Check out the articles on the Wiki and google imapsync. You can putty in and script away lots of settings. Really easy to do for lots of users if you spend a few minutes doing the prep research.
