    Default Lotus migration to Zimbra and Canonical Name

    Hello,

    I've seen posts regarding this issue but haven't seen a solution. I'm hoping someone has found one.

    I'm testing migrating from Lotus 8.5.2 to Zimbra 7.1.1 using the ZCSDominoMigrationWizard. It imports the email, contacts, and calendar. But the emails show the sender and recipients Lotus canonical name instead of an email address. If a person wants to reply to one of the imported emails, they will need to manually correct the address or the message will bounce when sent. How can we make it work so it shows the email address instead?

    We've tried Transcend Migrator and that converts canonical name to email address but that tool is impractical for a large scale migration.

    I've emailed Zimbra support. They responded with more questions and no answers.

    Thanks in advance,

    Greg

    Default Solution

    The solution is pretty simple but it's not clear from the documentation. Just enter your Lotus domain name. If your domain is USA, you would type:
    o=USA
