Question Migrate SME 7 - Zimbra

I am trying to migrate all email accounts (about 30) from SME 7 to the latest version of Zimbra (open source). I have 2 test machines up and running to get it to work before going live. I have managed to use IMAPSync to move all the accounts over, but I cant seem to move the emails within those accounts. I cant seem to install dovecot which was my original idea, I think the SME 7 repositories arnt in existance anymore? Whats the best way to migrate everything over including emails and aliases without knowing the users passwords? I have looked everywhere for the answer from the zimbra wiki to forum posts but nothing seems to work for me :-( (guess its something I am doing!) I am using zimbra on ubuntu server 12.04.

IMAP Sync is the way to do the migration in your case.

Of course it moves the mail, that's what it's for. You're going to have to give an example of the command you used and the results and errors from running the command. You should also give details of the solutions you've tried from other forum threads and solutions on this topic.
