    Default Errors Migrating from Exchange 5.5

    We're evaluating Zimbra Network addition as a possible replacement for our old Exchange 5.5 server.

    I'm using the Ubuntu 6.06 BETA addition so I realise there could be problems.

    I successfully imported my own account into zimbra, but when I try to import my managers account but it fails for to many errors an example of which is;

    Hi Patrick,
    I wouldn't recommends using ubuntu as your trial, as ubuntu is in BETA

    However, here's the problem:
    Caused by: com.zimbra.cs.convert.ConversionException: Cannot connect to convertd
    This is a network edition component, and I would recommend restarting zimbra. If you get the issue again, please file a bug so that we can get this fixed.

    Welcome to zimbra!

    Thanks for the reply John.

    I understand that the Ubuntu version is in BETA and so I'll encounter problems. It's just I am a lot more confortable with Debian based distros.

    If it proves too troublesome then I'll give the SUSE version a shot.
