Default Migrating From a "Cloud" Zimbra solution to a "Self-Hosted" Solution

Anyone have any experience doing this? Does it require the cooperation of the cloud service provider to move over mail/contacts/calendars intact or can it be done on its own?

We recently started with a cloud Zimbra provider (who I will not shame here) and our first two weeks have been, "less than stellar" would be the only way of putting it... through no fault of Zimbra the application, but entirely on the shoulders of the provider itself. :-(

I need to start formulating a plan in case I have yet to find the nadir of this situation.

    Hi dballing,
Will migrate from Cloud Zimbra to a Self-Hosted, but Zimbra too? How many users do you have?
The best, and easy way, is exporting .tar.gz account by account >

Tell us more about what version do you have, number of users for example.

    Best regards

Oh, yeah! Sounds much better yes.

But in my personal opinion I didn't like Zextras at all, if you want to view how Zimbra grows and improve new funcionalities and everything, people need to buy Network Edition, Zextras only get rich to Zextras company, not Zimbra team.

    But is only my opinion.

    Best regards

There's a zimbra to zimbra migration tool (zmztozmig) if you have access to both source and destination servers
