    The purpose of the question was to get a plausible solution... Seriously what admin is going to know his users passwords?

    I could just go into the users mailbox and see if the user has his mobile device setup, I want something simpler since i have 500 users.

    Sorry to be rash but your suggestion was a "short bus" kind of answer.

    Please switch your vote from the one I filed to this one instead Bug 45972 - zmsoap: Admin auth does not work for mail service requests.

    While su -'d to user zimbra,

    mysql zimbra -e "select distinct comment,device_type,user_agent from mobile_devices a,mailbox b where a.mailbox_id=b.id;"

    (The "comment" column in the mailbox table holds the email address as of account creation; it might be wrong if you've renamed users or domains.)
