Sure - but if there was an easy way to apply patches before major updates, then at least we could fix the issue in the mid-term. I understand I shouldn't expect support for something that is "Unsupported" so I wouldn't complain if the patch didn't work - but at-least I could try. Customers don't understand "Unsupported" they only understand works and doesn't work, and will just move to the next product that does work.. (even if the device is not officially supported) :P

Yes but i don't know if this patch does not affect other party of zimbra and other mobiles synchronisations
If this patch it has not been verified il all situations, they can not package it.

But it is only my opinion...

It looks like the user submitted patch is not the same as the ones the Zimbra dev's have come up with. The patch is already to be included with 6.0.7 :S - but we have to wait for 6.0.7 to be released before we have access to the patch.. Which is why I was suggesting they needed to enable admins to roll out smaller / individual patches that have already been completed (to be included in next major release). Much like Ubuntu / linux does with the package management features where you can enable patches that have been backported, etc..

Just my 2 cents.. I'm not expecting the situation to change anytime soon :P

Although now that they have patch/update notifications in the admin console, I could see easier patch management in the future

Default Htc Evo 4g + Htc Hero

I upgraded Zimbra today from 6.0.6 to 6.0.7 the problem with sending email with ActiveSync (Or by other means) still persists.

    Does anyone have this working?

I'm still running under 6.0.6, OSE version. I'm able to send email from my EVO via IMAP just fine.

Can anyone verify that they can send email via android activesync? I plan on upgrading to 6.0.7 mainly for our android users.

Upgraded works NE to 6.0.7.1 and I'm able to send via ActiveSync on my EVO.

Default Sprint/HTC Update seems to have fixed this in the EVO

I've been working around this problem with my HTC EVO and zimbra for couple of weeks. Sprint pushed an over the air update this morning (6/28) and it seems to have fixed it and now I can send email via ActiveSync and Zimbra We're still running Zimbra 6.0.3.
