Why use ActiveSync or Carddev/Caldev?
So...many pains exist with all of the captioned. For starts no sync for shared contacts/calendars...
This posses the question why use any of these. Recently I've been playing with the mobile webmail on my Galaxy Note 2 and I have to say it is pretty slick. I can access all of my shared contacts, shared calendars, folders, etc.
This raises the question why? why deal with the pains of using ActiveSync, Carddev, or Caldev. Why not just use the mobile webmail?
The only pain point that I could come up with was having to sign into the phone because of MDM policy management and then having to sign into webmail.
Just random thoughts at starting a conversation on a solution for shared items in the mobile world.
