Re: Right way to add option for new transport

This wiki article should help clarify the Postfix settings that are now in LDAP, and whcih can therefore be set via a zmprov command (so that the changes you apply survive service restarts).

Hope that helps,
Mark

Re: Migrating from groupwise to zimbra!!

Zimbra has/had a (deprecated) Groupwise Migration Tool you can request from Zimbra Support.

Note sure if that tool is still available, or if works with 8.8.15, but nothing wrong with asking.

All the best,
Mark

Re: Zimbra Desktop Mac won't launch

Zimbra Desktop is deprecated; it relies on an older no-longer-supported version of Java. The Desktop UI (and a good chunk of the code) is actually from Zimbra 7. FWIW, our experience has been that HTML5 Offline in the overwhelming majority of use cases eliminates the need for an offline client. Hope...

Re: Personas broken after 8.8.15p5 upgrade?

As of a few minutes ago, Zimbra support emailed me to let me know they have released a hotfix based on the P6 patch which addresses this problem. P7 will still have the fix included as well, but the hotfix allows to patch the system before P7 is available. P6 needs to be applied before the hotfix. ...

Re: Accepted wisdom - 8.8.15 p5 - Install or not?

Patch 5 upgraded OpenJDK from 11 to 13, and an earlier version upgraded OpenJDK from 8 to 11. The upgrade to OpenJDK 13 caused compatibility issues for OSE users who had installed ZeXtras (ZeXtras released an immediate update to address this), as well as some of Barry deGraaff's excellent third-part...

Same here. The attacks are always the same. They target a known account, and attempt logging in with a single ip, at intervals of 3-4 per minute. A tempted - a unique ip. Many from Asia. All day. Everyday. Impossible to stop them. I set up a massive password reset with a script. Mandatory, 16 min c...
