Re: Zimbra Desktop Discontinued... Again?

Still, it does feel a bit like ZD has died because Synacor just can't be bothered. Can you imagine the outrage if Microsoft just said "Stuff it, can't be bothered with desktop Outlook anymore. We want you to buy our server and pay us our license fees, but find some other way of doing what you'...

Focus issue on "To" and "cc" fields

Hello. Some of our users are experiencing something strange (we saw this at least with Safari and Firefox ESR). It happened both with 8.6.lastpatch (till last week) and 8.8.12-P3 (since last week). When you compose a new mail (not in a new window), you click and focus on these fields ("To"...

Re: Alternative to Affixa

For Windows, we've told our customers to buy a domain licence of "Zimbra Notifier". http://www.habitech.com.ar/productos/producto.php?id=18 It's a all in one tool that notifies you (email, calendar) and connects Zimbra to the MAPI layer of Windows. So you can "Sent to..." a new m...

Re: NG Backup - Do I need to disable "old" backup?

You should remove the crontab lines.

Also you should change the default redologs setup (to little redologs that get deleted on rollover).

Code: Select all

zmprov mcf zimbraRedoLogDeleteOnRollover TRUE
zmprov mcf zimbraRedoLogRolloverHardMaxFileSizeKB 102400

Looks like your users were not created in the correct domain (mail.domain.tld instead of domain.tld).

Re: Zimbra Multi-MTA Installation with server routing

Hello. Easy round-robin is by using DNS. So create a round-robin record in your DNS (out and/or in) then point your clients (and incoming mails) to this record. However, with that solution, you'll get all the usual round-robin issues: if a server goes don't it's stays in the pool, load per server wi...

Re: 8.8.12 Proxy+MTA install - proxy and mta won't start, no config and wrong paths

I had this issue too on a customer multi-servers setup. The two LDAPs were out of sync. If the MTA server was asking the "correct" LDAP (the one that handled the MTA upgrade fro 8.6 to 8.8), everything was ok. If it was asking the wrong LDAP (that was not aware of the upgrade because out o...

Re: New java exceptions in logs after upgrade 8.8.9_P2 to 8.8.9_P3

Hello.

I'm hitting the problem too (8.8.12P3).

Did someone opened a case to Zimbra's support?
I saw nothing in the bugzilla (yet).

It's quite difficult to force the users to use a pre-defined folder order and forbid them to use another one.

Re: Version of zimbra after patch update 14

This is the case for all "patches", there's only patch one version and an OSE patched system appears as NETWORK.
It's only cosmetic.

Re: Script to display disk usage by mailbox

If you're on a single server this gives you the size (and quota defined) per mailbox: zmprov gqu `zmhostname` You just need to deal with the unit to get it "human readable". It should be much faster than the loop. If you have a multi-mailstore setup, you'll just have to loop once per serve...
