Postfix, SNI and SSL support (or lack thereof)

For years now we've been kludging our way around the fact that postfix doesn't support SNI and we need SSL certificates to match in our virtualhost environment with Zimbra. We first raised a bug report back with Zimbra 6 regarding vhosts, SSL, Postfix (and IPv6) and Zimbra (vmware at that stage?) ma...

Re: Zimbra 9: zoom integration install

I'm trying to understand how/where SSDB fits into the equation. LDAP has long been the defacto method of integrating 3rd party authentication systems (anti spam, domain controller, etc, etc, etc) with mail systems. LDAP has been the authentication backbone of enterprise environments for longer than ...

preauth and expired passwords

I have an issue where by if I have flagged a user password as "expired" (must change at next login), whilst this is picked up and works as expected at the main login page, it doesn't get picked up if I use preauth https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Preauth I'm validating the user's login info fr...

Re: Mobile client doesn't show emails

Zimbra should create the work directory when you start mailboxd If it doesn't then the folder probably has the wrong permissions (which means other permissions could be out too) The best way to fix this is with zmfixperms /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms --extended should do it ... then start mailboxd...

Re: Zimbra 8.8.15 P4

In addition to the "Standard HTML" webmail client being broken, it looks like EWS is mangled too At least this seems to fix the broken calendar sync to mobiles, but instead of a silent "some things don't seem to be syncing" we have very vocal "we can't read our email" r...

Re: 8.8.15 P4 Full Install

I've looked at all of your previous posts, and with all due respect, I'm not seeing others on the forums reporting that P2 and P4 broke their Zimbra the way your Zimbra has experienced issues. I'd therefore like to suggest that we start with the basics: post your log file snippets documenting the e...

Re: upgrade to 8.7.0 or 8.7.1 yields infamous 502 error

Months ago when 8.7.0 was released I tried to upgrade from 8.6.0 to 8.7.0. This resulted in the famous Error 502 when using the webmail client. imap works fine. Many (most) of our users use the webmail client, so I had to back out. [snip] Would be great if Zimbra could chime in with an actual solut...
