Migrating Mac OS X Platforms PPC to Intel

OK guys, here's an interesting problem, my PPC XServe basically is dead in the water for now, and I need to get the emails out of the system into a temporary image of 10.5, but on Intel. Both versions are 5.0.11GA Open Source. The new server has the exact same hostname and settings (except the I...

5.0 Mac OS X PPC support?

Has anyone tried to compile 5.x on OS X PPC and upgrade their 4.x install?

5.0 Mac OS X PPC support?

OSX - how to upgrade to 5.0?

too bad i don't have an intel xserve to migrate to. i'm stuck with the g5 for at least another year, so i'll be stuck with the 4.x release for a while yet. i'm wondering if i could migrate to 5.0 using the source and rolling my own?

Could Zimbra consider a-la-carte pricing?

Not going to bring any hopes up, but i'm going to guess that *if* a feature-a-la-carte system was adopted, it would definitely make the license checking more complex and add, potentially, increasingly strange combinations for the on-phone support team. however, that being said, i think it would ...

multi-domain configuration - mail loops back

hey guys, to close out this thread, and hopefully provide a solution to this problem, if anyone else encounters it. I was checking the postfix conf with a friend of mine and the external MTA should be BLANK. If you don't have an edge MTA, nothing should go there, and it should work.

multi-domain configuration - mail loops back

I'm going to guess that the simplest solution would be to find someone who's willing to be a relay for this zimbra install, no?I'm guessing, since this problem has cropped up a bit here with no apparent solution, i'm guessing everyone is using external relays with the ISPs (which I c...

LDAP startup error on Mac OS 10.4.9

klynde - i had an issue (not with 10.4.9, can't remember which revision) with the desktop version of Mac OS X, which had all ports shut off with the built-in firewall. i don't have access to my laptop to check and see if you have to enable each port individually or how that firewall interfer...
