Re: Change Message-ID and In-Reply-To

That's interesting. In my case, if I look at the headers in any of the emails on my zimbra desktop client, they all have the pc name ref. It's not my day today, I overlooked the fact this was ZD you were talking about, I was just using the Web UI although I would have thought that ZD shouldn't be t...

Re: Change Message-ID and In-Reply-To

I don't see that on my server (ZCS 8.8.9), all I see is this: Message-ID: <920453294.1597.1531846534653.JavaMail.zimbra@mydomain.uk.com The 'zimbra' is added by ZCS, it's not the hostname and obviously the @mydomain.uk.com is valid. Plus another line with the FQDN & IP address of the mail server...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

There should be no problem upgrading from your current version to ZCS 8.8.9 with the obvious proviso of taking a backup first. As for Rspamd, it's trivial to install and remove should you not find it effective (i'd be surprised if that happened) and there's a wiki article here: - there's also a stic...

Re: 8.8.6 to 8.8.9 (On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) - several users with missing folders after upgrade

Hi David

I'm not really sure if it does anything to the mail store unless there's and table changes required to MySQL but that log file should be a copy of the original install log. Could this possibly be a filesystem or HD problem?

Re: 8.8.6 to 8.8.9 (On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) - several users with missing folders after upgrade

The log file is created in the /tmp folder, when the upgrade is finished it copies it to the /opt/zimbra/log directory and you should see a (dated) list of files in there as "zmsetup<some_date>.log"

Re: Need Help : Zimbra Suddenly 404 Error at login page

You've posted this in the Zimbra Desktop forums, is that the product you're using? If not, you need to (always) post the full output of the following command: zmcontrol -v You also need to give a more complete description of the problem, start with items such as: if this is a new install; did you re...

Re: How to fix Slow HTTP POST vulnerability

My question would be: why are you exposing http to the outside world when everyone should be using https only?

Re: zmprov error

Did you look at any of these search results: https://www.startpage.com/do/dsearch?qu ... ge=english

You should also upgrade your ZCS server to the most recent release.

Re: Rspamd: A replacement for Spamassassin & Postscreen

Hi David, Yes, I did see that blog post and also the forum post on the same topic. I added a comment and question to the forum post but there was no follow-up on that comment (and various others I've made here) and I don't feel confident there will be any useful response to any Blog post comments.
