Re: lost connection with smtp2.loreal.com[81.255.155.128] while sending MAIL FROM

Posting one out-of-context message from the log files doesn't really tell us much about the problem, what else is there? If that's a real email address in your post, you might want to obfuscate the address otherwise that person won't thank you for giving the address to spammers. ;)

Re: Instead of 25 port, use 587 port

What you're asking is not possible, you can't require someone that want's to send spam through your server to use a password - you don't know who is actually trying to relay mail through your server. I mentioned earlier that using your server as an open relay is not possible in it's default configur...

Re: autodiscover OCS version

Sorry.... :( It's actually an open source version ... [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol -v Release 8.7.0_GA_1659.RHEL7_64_20160628202714 RHEL7_64 FOSS edition. User count is high. I want to switch to the new version. For this reason, I do not want to manually configure. I want the e-mail server settings t...

Can I use Kaspersky instead of Clamav?
Yes, you could certainly hack the system to do that but what's wrong with clamav?

Re: Instead of 25 port, use 587 port

In my company we have used Zimbra COS 8.7.11 single server. In recent, a lot of spam sent through our mail server. In the present case the 25 and 587 port active. But I want to use only 587 port for authentication and sending mail. You could always block port 25 with your firewall but the moment yo...

What is the 'OCS' version and what do you mean by Autodiscover and why do you need it? It's always best if you indicate which version is in use by posting the full output of the following command:

Code: Select all

zmcontrol -v

Re: Rspamd: A replacement for Spamassassin & Postscreen

May I know whether you have switched all your 4 email servers to production. I am eager to know about the performance of the server that is handling 500 users. Can you please give yur feedback on the configuration / post configuration changes made in rspamd. As I mentioned earlier, this is your cho...

Re: Zimbra NE 8.6.0 to 8.8 woes

Where did you get the impression that this version 'requires' a clean install? I've upgraded my system and also done a separate clean install and the Briefcase function is still available in both of those and still working as it used to. :)
