Re: Are Zimbra NG modules free for OSE?

No, they're not free. Nothing is free for the OSS version except what you get in the installation download.

Re: Does not support TLS

TLS works fine on my server, who said it was the default to nut use TLS? What changes have you tried to fix this 'problem'? Sending an email to gmail using a TLS connection is not 'encryption', why do you think it does?

I'd second that comment, never do an in place distribution upgrade if you want an easy life.

Not unless there's a bug report filed but then Zimbra no longer takes any notice of bug reports filed by the Open Source Community (i.e. The people that do the QA and bug finding for Zimbra).

No it can't, it's a Network Edition feature. Take a look at the product comparison on the main web site.

I'll also remove your duplicate post on this question.

Isn't the Postfix "maximal queue lifetime" five days? As far as I know it is but it can be changed.

Re: How to get rid of TLSv1

When you say: [quote="e-d-i-t"but my monitoring software[/quote] do you mean something on a LAN or an external scanner? Did you restart the proxy after modifying the settings and does the https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/ scan give you a clean bill of health?

e-d-i-t wrote:So I have TLSv1 disabled, but my monitoring software finds a weakness in submission port 465, which still accepts TLSv1.
Port 465 is not the correct Submission port, it was deprecated a long time ago and the correct one to use is Port 587.

ZImbra is not built for that version of Ubuntu, I'd suggest you install the correct version of Ubuntu then install ZCS on that.

Re: Help-Upgrade Zimbra 8.6.0 to 8.x

You'll need to install the proxy & memcached for the upgrade (they are obligatory components) so I'd suggest you reead the wiki article on the subject and then read the Release Notes for the current version to see what may affect you.
