Re: Rspamd: A replacement for Spamassassin & Postscreen

Hi David, Yes, I did see that blog post and also the forum post on the same topic. I added a comment and question to the forum post but there was no follow-up on that comment (and various others I've made here) and I don't feel confident there will be any useful response to any Blog post comments. T...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

Have you consider using rspamd? I'd highly recommend you give it a tryy and see how it works for you, if you're not happy with it then it's trivial to return to the standard ZCS configuration. I'd also suggest you upgrade to the most recent ZCS 8.8.9 release.

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

You should always start a post with the full output of the following command: zmcontrol -v Next, tell us what you've actually tried and which settings have been modified and include the settings for the Tag/Kill percentages. You could always take a look at Rspamd (as mentioned in my signature) as an...

Re: Rspamd: A replacement for Spamassassin & Postscreen

Is there any possibility that RSPAMD will be built into Zimbra instead of Spamassasin and Postscreen? Sorry, I forgot answer this part of your post. I'd love to give you some good news but..... unfortunately there is very little activity on the bug report RFE, it gained some votes over the past yea...

Re: Cannot find your hostname

You're using the wrong command (the domain name part of your dig) and you appear to be getting the wrong answer, it should return the LAN IP of your mail server. Go to the Split DNS wiki article and run all the commands shown in the "Verify....." section of that article. Read the text in t...

You don't have a choice as only some of the packages (and patches) are in the repos, you still need to download the ZCS install file and run that install.

Re: Migration to new server (which version to install?)

You install the most recent version of ZCS on the new server and if you search the forums and wiki you'll find further information on using the ZeXtras Migration Tool although you'll find the full details of how to move your ZCS server on the ZeXtras site itself. ;)

Re: Notice: Zimbra 8.8.9 Released - 10 July 2018

It's listed in the Admin Guide under Mobile Device Security Policy: https://zimbra.github.io/adminguide/8.8.9/ - so I guess it's NE only. :( quite disappointing... Thanks for the information Bill. ccelis Seems I was mistaken about this feature, it is currently beta: https://blog.zimbra.com/2018/07/...

Re: Rspamd: A replacement for Spamassassin & Postscreen

Spamassassin needs to be disabled and I reset postscreen to it's default install settings and I also let rspamd do all the RBL checking. Once it's in rspamd doesn't need to be reinstalled and only a couple of modifications need to be made to the ZCS configuration which I think I've covered in my fir...
