4.0 RC1, comments after an hours use

Zimbra Assistant works fine on my system too. Neat feature, its kind of like quicksilver for Zimbra. Great release over all with me only having used it for 20 minutes.

Out of curiosity will the Outlook Connector even work with the open source edition even if there were a liciencing scheme available for it.

User agent identifier

Just from a security standpoint it would be an information leak.

Admin Console Session Timeout

Well there is a zimbraAdminAuthTokenLifetime for each user and in the default CoS. This is a default 12 hours set which is a bit high if you ask me. There is no value for idle timeout like the client UI has, i.e. zimbraMailIdleSessionTimeout. So the admin UI doesn't seem to log itself out even w...

Admin Console Session Timeout

From my experience, i.e. leaving an admin UI open all night long, it doesn't time out. I'll test it more tonight.

Admin Console Session Timeout

Is there a way to make the admin UI expire its session after a set amount of time like you can set with the user UI? This is probably would be a good security measure as it would force a logout of a admin session after a certain amount of inactivity.

Redhat file version wrong

Speaking of the /etc/init.d/zimbra script... anyone else find it missing in zimbra's release RHEL 3.1?

Displaying images in HTML email

I'd explain to your boss why this is implemented, and try to reason with him that itÂ’s a necessity as it is your purgative to carry out your due care and diligence as a email administrator to protect users from leaking sensitive information to spammers or other malicious attackers, thus maki...

Alexa hover and privacy concerns

I'd almost say make that an option to strip anything after a ? or / per CoS or even per user basis. I would think some admins would want the securty of stripping the url and then others would want the functionality of showing the actual website. Most often if it is that specific of a website wit...

Alexa hover and privacy concerns

I'd take an educated guess that whatever the url is it just pastes it in to the url= portion of the alexa link, so it would pass on any information. I don't know what alexa's policy is on information and such, which may be something you want to look up.
