Re: Reset antispam engine

Update 1 After doing a bit of digging on that DNS error I think I found the problem on my end. While my server does have DNS servers configured and working properly they were not listed in /etc/resolve.conf. I re-configured things so Network Manager put my DNS servers into /etc/resolve.conf, restar...

Another example: E-mails from this very forum telling me there have been replies to my thread are going into the Spam folder. Re: LDAP SSL error on 8.6 -> 8.7 upgrade

Just an FYI this issue still exists in 8.7.1.

I upgraded from 8.7.0 to 8.7.1 and got the same error.

Manually running "/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl" as root after the upgrade failed still works and finishes the failed upgrade.

I've updated the info in my bug.

Re: LDAP SSL error on 8.6 -> 8.7 upgrade

This issue appears to be resolved for me after updating to the latest OpenLDAP packages that Zimbra published for 8.7. In my case I run CentOS 6 so I performed a 'yum update', got the new OpenLDAP packages and then re-ran the Zimbra setup (/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl) as root. It appeared to iden...

Re: LDAP SSL error on 8.6 -> 8.7 upgrade

Well much like anything complicated involving Zimbra Open Source Edition we're probably not going to get an answer to this issue at this point.

I've submitted a bug report: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=106546

Re: Reset antispam engine

After some digging I think this issue might be related to Zimbra 8.7 putting more weight on bad/missing DMARC compared to 8.6.

Did 8.7 change the way it handles DMARC on incoming e-mail compared to 8.6?

Specifically I see DMARC_FAIL_REJECT in the e-mail headers bumping the spam rating pretty high.

Reset antispam engine

I assume Zimbra learns over time and improves it's spam filtering based on items you whitelist, blacklist and general e-mails you send/receive. Since upgrading to 8.7 (from 8.6) Zimbra is pretty much only catching my legitimate e-mail now as spam. Is there anyway to "reset" the spam filter...

LDAP SSL error on 8.6 -> 8.7 upgrade

Performed an upgrade from 8.6 to 8.7 on CentOS 6 64-bit (after installing 8.6 memcache and proxy first). This is the output from my installer: root@micro.fizi.ca:/temp/zcs-8.7.0_GA_1659.RHEL6_64.20160628192545# ./install.sh Operations logged to /tmp/install.log.609qSkJq Checking for existing install...

Zimbra bouncing/replying to e-mails it shouldn't

Release 8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL6_64_20141215151155 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.6.0_P1.

I ended up building my own Antispam gateway on a DigitalOcean VM and using it for relaying to/from my home server.

This worked around the problem of my IPS relay blocking me for sending spammy NDRs.
