zimbramon flooding /var/log/syslog

I'm getting this and it really makes syslog difficult to monitor. Still only a handful of votes after I added mine...

Backups create high load and take down server.

I'm seeing similar behavior and am also running Ubuntu 6.06.2. This started with upgrade of ZCS from 5 to 6. Although it's not crashing my server it is causing a huge load with lots of waiting and what was a 10 to 15 minute full backup is now taking 175 minutes. I'm considering upgrading...

local mail getting marked as spam?

How about disabling the Pyzor check for the time being? I am having pretty good results without it. Sounds like it's doing you more harm than good.
Just my quick observation after looking at this thread. Good luck!

Full backup failed to run (NE)

I have noticed messages like the following in the kern.logs. They occur sometimes but not everytime during the time the full backup happens. They only occur at that time as far as I can tell. It all may mean nothing of significance-- or not. The backup failure that occurred on Sept 6 is a singular e...

Full backup failed to run (NE)

On Saturday our regularly scheduled full backup failed to run, leaving a "running" status message on the Administrator's Backups screen (web ui). It would not abort using the Abort button. I could not find any logged errors (and did not find the zmbackupquery/zmbackupabort commands unt...

[SOLVED] Sharing UI stopped working

I noticed yesterday that the web user interface for sharing doesn't work anymore-- neither from a right click on a folder (mailbox or contacts) nor the properties "Add share..." button. I've tried it from IE6+7 and FF3 on both Windows and Linux.Sharing is enabled in the COS. Nothin...

[SOLVED] Inexplicably out of disk space

ThorGoLucky,Since I ran into this myself recently I can understand your panic. First check all your logs to ensure nothing has gone wild writing entries. Also you might run du -s -h * to see where your space is getting used.In my case a scheduled rsync job to a USB device had failed to mount the dev...

[SOLVED] Timeout Policy: Spam message lifetime doesn't work

Thomas - Thanks for the tip to set the zimbraMailPurgeSleepInterval to 0 first.
Once I did that I could set it to 1m and now I see purging happening each minute. Interesting that zmprov gacf still reports it as 0, even though the log is clearly showing that purging is happening.
