Upgrading to Zimbra Collaboration 8.6.0 from 8.5.0 : Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters
Hi Jorge, i talked to Namecheap about PositiveSSL Multi-Domain. They said, that their certificates cannot be used to secure internal domain names. If i tried to set SubjectAltNames within the CSR it would get ignored. So this is not an option :-( Anything else you suggest? What about migrate to a se...

Hi Jorge, of course i did. This is the command i used : /opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr createcsr comm -new -keysize 2048 -subject "/C=DE/ST=.../L=.../O=.../OU=IT/CN=zimbra.<MYDOMAIN>.de" -subjectAltNames "zimbra.dmz.<MYDOMAIN>.de" As you can see, the CN and SubjectAltName are differen...

Upgrading to Zimbra Collaboration 8.6.0 from 8.5.0 : Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters
Hi cppetrie, thanks for your detailed explanation what you did. The problem is, that my hostname is different from the one used for CN. Hostname (internal) = zimbra.dmz.<MYDOMAIN>.de CN = zimbra.<MYDOMAIN>.de Hostname (external) = zimbra.<MYDOMAIN>.de So you suggestion to reissue the certificate wit...

Upgrading to Zimbra Collaboration 8.6.0 from 8.5.0 : Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters
Hi Jorge, thanks to a good documentation, i was able to regenerate and reissue the certificate - but without an improvement. Running zmcertmgr still has only one entry for SubjectAltName. ... /OU=IT/CN=zimbra.<MYDOMAIN>.de" -subjectAltNames "zimbra.<MYDOMAIN>.de,zimbra.dmz.<MYDOMAIN>.de&qu...

Upgrading to Zimbra Collaboration 8.6.0 from 8.5.0 : Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters
Hi Jorge,
thanks for looking into our issue. Your assumption is right. Running zmcertmgr reveals that the hostname is NOT included. Both CN and SubjectAltName carry the official FQDN and are identical.
Do you need the output?
Best regards
Thomas

Upgrading to Zimbra Collaboration 8.6.0 from 8.5.0 : Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters
I have (supposingly) the same issue too. - commercial certificate (not expired!) - Zimbra 8.5.1_GA_3056 (build 20141103151510) - single server Validating ldap configuration Error: Unable to create a successful TLS connection to the ldap masters. Fix cert configuration prior to upgrading. Any suggest...

Overnight notifications of services stopping/starting
I am facing the same problem. Did someone find a cause for the stop/start thing? And most important, how to fix this?
Thanks
Thomas
Thanks

[quote user="roccogalati"]i was thinking...can't you solve the problem by simply creating two different address books in zimbra? the first one with only users who have emails and the second which contains only users with a phone number and then synchronize them with ur mobile?like you ...
