activating touch client

Hello. On a NE edition we just upgraded from 8.0.9 to 8.6 p2 but I can't see a way to make touch client available. It's activated in the COS and in the user feature. I tried to reactivate the license but I m always redirected to the mobile version when I try to connect to the touch client. W...

Zimbra 8.6 preauth token causes logout on element move to share folder

Is it a bug or a missing configuration? I tried even on a clean fresh install including patch 2. If I use admin generated or zimbranotifier preauth token when I move an element (one mail ie.) to a shared folder I m logged out . Install : Ubuntu 14 standard install script with default parameters. Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Hello. After several investigation with the VM provider we found that the file /etc/services was missing in the OS image. That was the reason why the script didn't recognized the LDAP protocole.

I did

apt-get --reinstall --purge install netbase

and it fixed my problem !

Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Thank you for your information. Yes it's the goal to rename the server and have no more monemail.ch (without sub-domain) as MX. I tried the setup you suggest and I tried to disable IP v6 but I still have the same error on LDAP initialization !

Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Hello. here it is but I think the correct would be dig mx zimbra.monemail.ch because "monemail.ch" is another running server in production that should be replaced by the new one. So : # dig mx monemail.ch ; <<>> DiG 9.9.5-3ubuntu0.2-Ubuntu <<>> mx monemail.ch ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got...

Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Hello. It really looks to be linked to the supervisor or the setup of the initial image because I tried to create a VM with an image of Ubuntu 12 that is running on XEN and did a "do-release-upgrade" to Ubuntu 14 then the installation process was working without error to the end. But I don...

Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Hello. I tried using IPv4 (default) and both : same result. The VM is a new HVM of Gandi hypervisor (http://wiki.gandi.net/en/iaas/references/server/hvm) so such a PHVM + KVM platform. I actually didn't found an error in their adapter config... is there a workaround to explore ? or is it possibl...

Initializing ldap...failed. (512) on Ubuntu 14

Hello On a VM using Ubuntu 14 / 64bits I can't proceed with a fresh install neither with version 8.6 or 8.5. I always get an error on the stage of initilizing LDAP. In the log file I have : Wed Feb 25 06:19:40 2015 *** Running as zimbra user: /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmldapinitUnrecognised protocol t...

ZCS 8.07 from ubuntu 12.04 LTS to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Hello I plan to do the same and I think this will be the recommended method to do : http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/ZCS_to_ZCS_rsync_Migration But actually didn't tested. So for you're case (and mine as well) Update from 8.07 to 8.5 latest version and then installin a fresh install with exactly ...
