disclaimer not working in 8.06 FOSS

I created a new test install, and checked the differences. Found out that if I turn on AV, the disclaimer works.Previously, in 7.x, just turning on AS would allow the global disclaimer to work.Does anybody know any way around this? I don't need the AV component, since I have an AS/AV scanner in ...

disclaimer not working in 8.06 FOSS

I have an existing 7.2.4 environment where the disclaimer is working, by setting the following: zmprov mcf zimbraDomainMandatoryMailSignatureEnabled TRUE zmprov mcf zimbraDomainMandatoryMailSignatureText "disclaimer" zmprov mcf zimbraDomainMandatoryMailSignatureHTML "disclaimer"I...

Zimbra OpenSource Latest release 8 Multi server install Help

There's not much detail about your actual install, so just a couple of wild guesses here:

1) did you run the zimupdateauthkeys on each server? otherwise the admin server cannot login to each other server.

2) did you also update your syslog.conf as per the install notes for the syslogger?

Mitigate against user enumeration vulnerability

[quote user="Brad_C"]Once you have verified the correct login for a user, it's trivial then to start the dictionary attacks. It's a hole worthy of some attention now rather than later.Until its fixed I suppose I have to force all my clients to connect to the zimbra server over their...

How to set different outgoing IP to each domain.

oops, my bad, speno is right, you will have to bind (as you've found out), manually edit the master.cf.in file. I have a firewall cluster in front of my mailservers so I do my mapping from there, my apologies for misleading you.

Can I separate 2 domain to store in different location folder?

if I understand you correctly, you have two email servers A and B. domainA is on A, and domainB is on B. You'd like to backup (from a filesystem perspective) files from A to B, and in the event of a failure, bring up domainA on B.I don't think you can do this from the filesystem level (just ...

How to set different outgoing IP to each domain.

To succintly answer your question, you need multiple IPs on your server (I'm running linux servers, so it's an easy task to create some aliases and restart the networking stack), then assuming domain2.com is already created in the zimbra admin interface, provision the IP using the command zm...

Activate spam detection for outbound emails

I agree with soxfan; given the load involved in scanning both incoming and outgoing emails, I've moved to using an external AS/AV to lesson the load on the zimbra servers. You could use e.g. start [Mailcleaner] (this is what I'm using for ~1000 users) or mxHero - email better (I evaluated an...

[quote user="kruon"]If you're going to use the free edition, you will lose features like group calendars for those users who still decide to use outlook as their primary email interface. Group calendar works, but only when used through the web interface. You cannot sync the calendar be...
