Any update on this? It looks like it's still around in 8.8.14...

Re: Multiple hosts in "Inbound SMTP host name"

I have the same question. "Is it possible to specify more than one host IP address in the 'Global Settings -> MTA -> Inbound SMTP Host Name' field?, and if so, HOW? "
Thanks in advance,
-Mike

ZCS 8 - Mobile licensing change?

ZeXtras accomplishes all of the mobile functions better than the original ZCS NE. It also includes a more comprehensive backup/restore tool, and a nice chat zimlet. After discovering ZeXtras, I went back to the free Community Edition and have been most happy with the results.

zcs 7.1.2 high CPU loading used by java process

Sorry. NO GOOD. At 14:15 EST today, back to the same old pegged CPU at 97% usage. No one able to access web interface, Outlook and other clients unable to attach. Only recovery is by re-installing 8.0.2...

zcs 7.1.2 high CPU loading used by java process

Oliver,

Thanks for the update. I did the 8.0.2. upgrade yesterday morning, and updated by ZeXtras extensions as well. So far 58 hours uptime no issues yet. Will keep a close eye, but for now, "so far, so good."

zcs 7.1.2 high CPU loading used by java process
Mr. Coffee, no, I never found a solution. Occasionally a java process would just take off and I'd go and kill it. :-( I've since moved jobs and no longer have to worry about Zimbra running my CPU hot any more though. :-)Babblo, my problem occurred months ago...

New installs of Zimbra 8 using 100% CPU.

Good to know. I'm thinking that by bumping up my VM size, the increased Memory results in larger IO buffer size, and I'm actually seeing the problem occur more often than when it was on the smaller instance...

New installs of Zimbra 8 using 100% CPU.
Have you tried restarting the server itself? I mean the OS, not zimbra, that seemed to have solved the CPU issue for me.
Yes, and even after restart, the problem seems to quickly re-appear. The remedy that lasts the longest is a complete re-install/upgra...

New installs of Zimbra 8 using 100% CPU.

One more thing I have noticed: After this occurs, and I do a "zmcontrol restart", I get permissions errors in my /var/log/messages as follows:Nov 30 16:57:28 mail zmconfigd[18287]: Exception in bin/zmamavisdctl: (Cannot run program "/opt/zimbra/bin/zmamavisdctl" (in directory &qu...

New installs of Zimbra 8 using 100% CPU.

zmcontrol restart always seems to set things right, but I can't be taking my server down for 10 minutes every time it's starts acting like this! I have run zimbra 5 and zimbra 6 servers for over a year without a problem on a much smaller CPU, and have never had these issues.
