I do not have my Zimbra server directly on the internet. I have it sitting behind a pfSense firewall on my DMZ.

pfSense rules handle what is sent to the mail server.

Does it support Outlook? Are the protocols only IMAP and POP3 (Comcast only allows pop3)? If you are looking at the pay for version (Network Edition) then yes it does For the Open Source Edition (OSE), out of the box, only supports IMAP(s)/SMTP(s)/POP3(s) There are options for that though (Z-Push) ...
