zimbra account id format

This is a good question. There are Ids set for different attributes in zimbra, I've posted in another thread too, would like to know how this Id is generated, can we generate a new Id for a zimbra domain or account attribute?
* sorry if I'm running wild here, its just the sense of urgency :)

[SOLVED] Error! Attribute zimbraGalAccountId

Still getting the error with zimbraGalAcccountId. It has just one GalAccountId, not sure why it says this attribute of domain is referencing invalid account Id. stuck here.

[SOLVED] Error! Attribute zimbraGalAccountId

Is there any way we can generate a new zimbraGalAccountId and zimbraId for a domain? delete the existing one and create a new one I mean. Without causing any trouble to the domain or accounts.

Admin console server status page show stopped services

Farukh,
Did you check /var/log/zimbrastats.log for any errors? or anything unusual. If you have seperate mailstore servers, their /etc/syslog.conf should have entries directing to the logger host server.

Admin console server status page show stopped services

Hi farukh,I don't think stats not properly displaying can cause mails to bounce or cause problems for mta in anyway. It is two different things you are facing.Did you see anything in zimbra.log when mails were bounced? If you have mailbox servers, confirm logger server is able to connect with th...

Email Attacher Zimlet not working ZCS 5.0.8

I am not trying it with composing in a new window. Just the basic opening as a tab doesn't work.
The thing is the zimlet is not even displayed in the first place, so i guess its the deployment that is wrong (mailbox.log showed no errors)
Thanks Bill.
