carlosbetiol wrote:Hello, I'm trying to get the zimbraMtaPostscreenDnsblSites list from my server, can anybody help me ?

Try this:
To display all Postscreen configurations

Code: Select all

zmprov gacf | grep zimbraMtaPostscreen*

or just this for DnsblSites

Code: Select all

zmprov gacf | grep zimbraMtaPostscreenDnsblSites

Is it possible to white list encrypted archive senders?

We block encrypted archives in the global AV/AS settings. Unfortunately, our users are now receiving a large amount of legitimate password protected PDFs from a very small list of senders. Is it possible to whitelist who can send password protected PDFs? Otherwise, we have to turn this AV/AS setting...

Re: Unable to block an entire domain with Zimbra 8.7

I was able to solve this. I had to add zimbraMtaSmtpdSenderRestrictions zmprov ms 'yourzimbraservername' +zimbraMtaSmtpdSenderRestrictions "check_sender_access lmdb:/opt/zimbra/conf/postfix_reject_sender" This will automatically update the postconf and that will not disappear after reboots...

Re: <SOLVED> Blocking incoming emails for one recipient domain

I would like to re-address this thread. These working on a Zimbra 8.7.11 community edition installation, which is pretty vanilla - meaning that there have been very few, if any modifications. I'm trying to block an entire domain and was able to after a couple of changes. Here are the relevant files ...

Re: If I am using postcreen, do I need to configure list of Client RBLs?

Thanks Phoenix. I did read your post about a newer method of blocking SPAM (rspamd), but it seems like quite alot of work to get it up and running and I would rather do it on a low volume or test server. The one that I am having issues with at the moment, is one of my primary customers, so I don't w...

Re: If I am using postcreen, do I need to configure list of Client RBLs?

Jorge, Thanks for your answer. That makes sense. So am I correct in thinking that the "Client RBLs" field under DNS checks in The Zimbra web administration panel under Global configuration \ MTA is actually part of the anti-spam / anti-virus service? Can you elaborate on the workflow there...

If I am using postcreen, do I need to configure list of Client RBLs?

We have used Client RBLs in the web administration panel for a few years now.

With 8.7, we can now use postscreen.

Should we remove the RBLs from the web admin panel once we have configured them in the postcreen configuration?

What happens if they are used together?

Any downsides?

Thanks,
David

<SOLVED> Unable to block an entire domain with Zimbra 8.7

I'm trying to block an entire domain in Zimbra 8.7 Community Edition. This is a pretty fresh install, so I should have any defaults that come with a zimbra installation. We are getting attacked by a Chinese domain called qq.com. The addresses are random each connection example 324125@qq.com, 351341@...
