Re: how to prevent already-flagged messages being sent to Junk folder?
Found an acceptable answer, given our configuration. Not the general one I want, but I have much to do. The issue appears to be that both zimbra and zerospam use SpamAssassin defaults for their X-Spam-* headers. The solution is to tell zimbra to use something else. Here's what it looks like at the c...

how to prevent already-flagged messages being sent to Junk folder?
My question is the inverse of this question: https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?t=60647 using FOSS 8.8.15 we have a scanning service filtering our email. It adds headers like the following in email coming from our (newly-migrated) website's "please contact me" form. We have whiteliste...

Re: is this wiki document tested with / valid for 8.8.x FOSS? (zmsetservername)
Well, I did all the backups, and it seems to have worked. The documentation on what to do *after* the rename is very, very incomplete. I have a single-server install I did this on. Afterwards, Be prepared to: grep -R oldhostname /opt/zimbra/conf/* | grep -v -i cruft_to_filter_out I already had comme...

Proxy issue - how to verify proxy function on single-server install, after modifications?
I have a single-server install of zimbra 8.7.11 FOSS on which I have renamed the host. it was mail2.domain.tld it is now mail.domain.tld Everything seems to be working correctly, BUT one of the tests in the guiding document, https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/ZmSetServerName, returned an incorrect result ...

is this wiki document tested with / valid for 8.8.x FOSS? (zmsetservername)
the document itself says it is only verified up to 8.6. https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/ZmSetServerName Does anyone have any insight as to whether it would work with 8.8.15 (FOSS)? basically I need to rename the host from mail2.domain.tld to mail.domain.tld. Commercial certs are already issued. Thanks ...

wiki.zimbra.com appears to be down. How to report this?
I can't reach it from my location:
https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/
and
https://isitup.org/wiki.zimbra.com
https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/wiki.zimbra.com.html
also tell me it seems to be down.
So, is there a way to get past the marketing facade and report an issue to synacor?

Re: Unknown command sent to server. ZxChatRequest
Note that we were *not using* zxchat, so this is definitely not a general solution . You might want to just "toggle status" to 'disabled', and see if that fixes it. I have solved this by navigating to: home-configure-zimlets right click on: com_zextras_chat_open choose "undeploy"

Re: clarification, please, for pre-reqs for Ubuntu server 18.04 regarding libgmp3c2
Well, after an October 4 email response from Gayle Billat of zimbra-team at zimbra [dot] com, and a couple of follow up emails over the next two weeks, we at least know zimbra are aware of this gap in the checklist.... Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I will work on getting the documentati...

clarification, please, for pre-reqs for Ubuntu server 18.04 regarding libgmp3c2
I'm hoping someone with actual experinence of a bare-metal install of Ubuntu 18.04, and then Zimbra 8.8.x can give some guidance as to how to get resolve my dilemma. I am just at the stage of configuring an Ubuntu 18.04.3 server to be ready for an install of Zimbra FOSS 8.8.15. Starting wih the Zimb...

Re: zmswatch high cpu usage
Just in case you haven't realized it yet, your machine was infected with a coin miner. see https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2019-9670 lots of discussion of post-patch cleanup here (warning - there are a couple of variants, so not everything applies) https://lorenzo.mile.si/zimbra-c...
