Re: Wiki says how to add but not how to remove

Thank you for the additional information.

I'm glad that you are able to confirm the problem was not with my mail server.
I do not know of any other way right now. I searched the net all day trying to find a way to allow this domain.
Nothing I tried worked however, only allowing relay did.

Re: Wiki says how to add but not how to remove

No need to re-run the postmap command then, just use - to remove? Also, do you know why this did not work? The only way I was able to r eceive the email from that domain was by adding it's IP like this; zmprov ms mx.unrealmachines.com zimbraMtaMyNetworks 'x.x.x.x/32 This seems to be the wrong way as...

Wiki says how to add but not how to remove

On my zimbra 8.7 server, I followed this document. https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Specific_Whitelist/Blacklist_per_IP Whitelist Edit /opt/zimbra/conf/postfix_rbl_override. Add IP address(es) SPACE OK to the file, one IP address per line: 1.2.3.4 OK Run the postmap to save and apply the changes in Post...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

>I think you mean Kill at 75 and Tag at 33? Wasn't that the pre-set default when installing the server? I seem to recall that. I have slowly changed my settings until most of the spam was at least being sent to the junk folder. It's not perfect but it's keeping most of it out of my inbox. I was nerv...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

Interesting to me is that out of the box, someone can 'adjust' at will yet the install should automatically set things to the best settings known/possible. I'm not sure that your settings would work the same way for me if I'm using slightly different configurations, perhaps even RBL for example. Mea...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

There is one thing I didn't ask about which is my tag/kill settings. To date, almost all of the stuff that ends up in my junk folder is in fact spam while real mail makes it to my inbox. The problem is the sheer amount of stuff that makes it into the junk folder and how I need to trim that back a li...

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

I'll give it a try when I have a little more time on my hands and I hope, come back and update this post.

Thank you again.

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

Actually, I think I'll pass for now. There are too many things to keep track of after starting to use this and as I said, I do this part time.
I wish Zimbra would spend more time on spam filtering.

Re: Old topic but, Zimbra never learns

I wasn't aware of that and would be nervous about sharing bad information, especially since things change so quickly and I don't work on this regularly.
I'll make mentions here first, how's that.
