The DNSBL AHBL (Abusive Hosts Blocking Lists) is no longer offer their service.

Hi Mike, please see my post on the previous page: --- AHBL will be disabled by automatic rule updating (available since Zimbra 8.0.5) if automatic rule updating has been manually enabled by issuing the following commands as the Zimbra user: zmlocalconfig -e antispam_enable_rule_updates=true zmlocalc...

Yes. As long as autoupdate has been manually enabled (as it seems to be disabled by default, according to http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/SpamAssassin_Customizations#Automatic_rule_updates) So just for completion:AHBL will be automatically disabled by automatic rule updating (available since Zimbra 8.0....

The DNSBL AHBL (Abusive Hosts Blocking Lists) is no longer offer their service.

Got it, the updates are not in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/50_scores.cf but in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/updates_spamassassin_org/50_scores.cf on our server: ./updates_spamassassin_org/50_scores.cf:# AHBL is closing down. disabling early. (Axb-2014-03-28) ./updates_spamassassin_org/50_scores.c...

The DNSBL AHBL (Abusive Hosts Blocking Lists) is no longer offer their service.

Then it does not seem to work, neither on the FOSS nor on the NETWORK editions (at least of Zimbra 8.0.7).

Ah, just get that from your bug report:

"All the servers I've looked at from 8.0.8-8.6.0 have this disabled"

Looks like that auto-update was added in Zimbra 8.0.8 :-(

The DNSBL AHBL (Abusive Hosts Blocking Lists) is no longer offer their service.

Hi Jorge, no, I don't have that line on our servers (and yes, the servers have internet connection): # more /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/50_scores.cf | grep AHBL score DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL 0 2.438 0 2.699 # n=0 n=2 Maybe that autoupdate was added in later versions of Zimbra than 8.0.7 ? Btw.: Yo...

Hmmm...as of the time of this comment, it was still enabled (Servers are running Zimbra 8.0.7) and leading to false-positives.

Zimbra blocked by dnsbl.ahbl.org

Hi w@w, don't forget to add # disable AHBL, see http://www.ahbl.org/content/changes-ahbl score DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL 0 to Zimbra's SpamAssassin configuration (AHBL is enabled by default!) in /opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin/local.cf to make sure SpamAssassin does not accidentally add additional s...

The DNSBL AHBL (Abusive Hosts Blocking Lists) is no longer offer their service.

Hi Jorge, please note that it is not sufficient to avoid using the AHBL blacklist in the MTA configuration of Zimbra. The blacklist is enabled by default in the SpamAssassin configuration delivered with Zimbra, which is why ALL incoming mails will get additional spam points (see mail headers, e. g.:...
