I have a daemon alerting me to account lockouts so I can adjust our firewall and unlock accounts, but that is eating too much of my time. At this po...

Re: Certificate Question

There are a number of ways to prove ownership of the domain. If you can receive email for postmaster@ or hostmaster@ you should be fine. https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Administration_Console_and_CLI_Certificate_Tools I like the Thawte ssl123, but there are many options at different price points. Re: Certificate Question

The best thing to do would be to purchase and install a certificate from a certificate authority. That way there will be a chain of trust, and you will not get that error on any common web browsers. Re: How to get IP of user trying to connect to web interface?

I wrote a monitoring daemon, zlockoutd, to send the admin an alert when there is a lockout. You can get it from here. https://github.com/howanitz/zimbra_lockoutd Additionally, I have something like the following running on a cronjob - I also run it manually if there is a lockout to find where the di...

Re: Zimbra Collaboration 8.7.x and Ubuntu OS update corrupts/removes Zimbra installation

I am waiting on upgrading (the paid NE) until things stabilize more. I wish issues of this order would get email alerts to paying customers.

Re: zmbackup schedule

You would then need to keep at least two months of backup tapes, and one tape failure could mean a loss of a complete month of backups. With the default system, the worst one tape failure can mean is a loss of a week of backups. (A week is not acceptable loss for us, so we do a full backup nightly -...
