Re: MDaemon to Zimbra via imapsync

Can't find any deep article on administrative login on mdaemon. Usually when you need particular syntax (like dovecot's Master User), you'll find a lot of articles about it. Or when a particular system does not support it (like Axigen). It makes me suppose that mdaemon syntax could be quite simple (...

Download search for Delegated Admins

Hi, i would like to give a delegated admin the ability do download a search result list. The feature is enabled for Global Admins, when you search anything you can save the results in csv: dwld.png That particular menu item lacks for delegated admins, and i can't find the correct right/view to give....

Re: My Zimbra bounces only gmail

When talking about spam/reputation/blacklist, Gmail works on a separate way. Basically they have the firepower to do everything they need in house. Gmail does not rely on public BL, then you can be totally clean on the DNSBLs but Gmail can consider you a spammer again. Moreover, they do ML/AI on it:...

Re: New java exceptions in logs after upgrade 8.8.9_P2 to 8.8.9_P3

Funny thing:
yesterday's mailbox.log was 720MB.
yesterday's mailbox.log without the Caught ServiceException trying to compare ZimbraHit lines was 22MB

Re: New java exceptions in logs after upgrade 8.8.9_P2 to 8.8.9_P3

Edit, ain't solved anything, the problem is still there. Had the same identical problem on my personal account. I thought that i can have solved it today, but wasn't. - The strange behaviour started with ZCS 8.8.9_P2. Now i'm on 8.8.9_P8, the issue stands still - I've found the issue when investigat...

Re: Milter-reject on distribution list without any ACL

This old post saved my back today. mailing list "thislist@mydomain.com" rejecting with "milter-reject - blah blah - 571 Sender is not allowed to email this distribution list" with no apparent cause - no zimbraACE in zmprov gdl thislist@mydomain.com - zmmilterctl restart on all fr...

Modify user attributes from webmail

Is there a way to let the users modify their attributes, like sn, givenName, telephoneNumber, company, title etc.. ?
Maybe a zimlet? I can't find anything...

For what it seems, a user can't modify its own attributes from webmail.

Re: Policyd wrong message count

It is due to the zimbra mail flow. Postfix->amavis->postfix. As a workaround, double always your limits. If using policyd to mitigate spam outbreach (as the majority of the Accounting and Quotas policies i've seen) think of it in order of magnitude. Sending out 300 or 600 spam message is the same th...
