Re: Zimbra 9: zoom integration install

Putting aside the fact that SSDB also seems to be in development and is "young" software, is there a way of having SSDB for ephemeral data storage and LDAP for authentication running in parallel? As John mentioned, SSDB is not a replacement for LDAP; it's just a better place to store the ...

Re: Zimbra server can not save mail

I am less than 100% sure, but I don’t think fuse mount points are supported by Zimbra.

Zimbra supports S3 natively, so you can connect to an S3 bucket for you primary volume directly.

There are some set up steps, including two directories you need to create, described in the Admin Guide.

Re: zmmailboxdctl is not running (NoSuchMethodException)

Please post the output from:

Code: Select all

zmlocalconfig mailboxd_java_options

This variable is not updated by the upgrade installer (but should be).

Re: Blocking SASL logins?

Block all except and monitor : - 25 (SMTP, SMTP with auth) - 587 (Submission) - 22 (if need to access your server from the outside world, better use VPN or allow identified IP with private key) - 110 (POP) - 995 (POPS) - 143 (IMAP) - 993 (IMAPS) - 80 (HTTP) - 443 (HTTPS) That should be enough Regar...

Re: Blocking SASL logins?

Thanks for the blog article. I bet plenty of people would appreciate the same using firewalld. Thanks Mike, FWIW Fail2ban also ships with several firewalld action files in /etc/fail2ban/action.d and the firewalld documentation (https://firewalld.org/documentation/howto/add-a-service.html) shows how...

The account status shows as active, it's not locked out but will be if I keep trying it.

Re: Suddenly cannot login as admin

I recently made policy changes to the passwords requirements and forced a 90 day change. I have access to all email accounts but not the administrator ones. Is it possible it's something to do with the passwords? Why not just create a new Global Admin account for the moment, so you can manage the s...

Re: Suddenly cannot login as admin

Seems not. # grep "DoSFilter" /var/log/maillog # Please instead try: cat ~/log/mailbox.log | grep "suspended, for repeated failed login." and if you get any hits, then run: cat ~/log/mailbox.log | grep "authentication failed" to see who caused the failure.
