I'm sorry, Sebas, I did not realize I had a pending friend request. I just accepted it. :) I will look into this case now.

ZImbra Backup failure

No, that's not possible. You should look at http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Ajcody-Notes-Server-Move for the best method of moving to a new system. Basically, you'd want to upgrade to 7.2.7 in place, then install 64-bit Ubuntu 8 on the new system and follow the instructions in the Wiki article. ...

ZImbra Backup failure

You'll have to upgrade through several steps along the way, and an in-place upgrade will not be possible. You will need to purchase new hardware for certain. We have no supported x86 architecture for several years now (7.2.7 is the last version to support ubuntu 8.04 x86). You can upgrade that f...

ZImbra Backup failure

Your backups are likely corrupt somehow. You should move /opt/zimbra/backup out of the way and try taking a new full backup.

You need to also upgrade immediately. ZCS 6.x is not only no longer supported, but it is incredibly vulnerable to numerous security threats.

Migration from 6x to 8x using zmztozmig

Hi Sebastián, Unfortunately, I don't know the specifics of your prior issue, so I can't fully speak to it, however I do know that we've talked about this issue a lot recently internally, and there isn't anyone in support right now that would hang up on you if you called in with yo...

Hi Sebastián, I'm not sure if we're misunderstanding each other or not here, and I'm also unsure where you are getting the idea that you're unsupported because you're upgrading from 6. Were you told that by someone in Zimbra Support? Certainly we want you to upgrade, and you&#...

Migration from 6x to 8x using zmztozmig

You can look at https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Enabling_Zimbra_Proxy for notes on how to get proxy going if you're not using it today. Once that's up and running, you can look at https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Rolling_Upgrades_Overview for some more information on using zmmboxmove to move mailbo...

I'm not sure what you mean by Zimbra won't give you support while migrating. Support will certainly point you towards an upgrade, but they won't leave you stranded while doing the upgrade. Additionally, yes the gallery contains zimlets that are almost exclusively third-party and while in...

I would suggest using http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Ajcody-Notes-Server-Move to accomplish this. Since you're using ZCO, you're a NE customer which means zeXtras would void your warranty, so you don't want to go that route at all. The official process for doing this is either the link I ju...

Problem with zimbraRemoteManagementPrivateKeyPath

This is usually because either you're running ssh on a port other than 22 or your ssh keys are not setup correctly. Is ssh running and on port 22?
