Re: sauser.cf not being read

Hi DualBoot, Thanks for the reply. I tried looking in the /opt/zimbra/common/conf/ folder but cannot find anything appropriate to spamassassin conf or rules. So looked at amavisd.conf and found at line 133 (using nano -c) #$sa_configpath = '/opt/zimbra/conf/spamassassin'; I made a copy of the line a...

Thanks for the reply.
Is the interfaces change specific to your host? No guarantee it will be the same for me though I think?

Kind regards,

sauser.cf not being read

Hi,
Whatever I put in sauser.cf in ... /localrules does not seem to be being read as none of the actions seem to happen such as add_header etc.

I am using 8.7.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 fresh install of both.

Is there anyway I can check it is being parsed?

Thank you and kind regards,

Upgrading Ubuntu from 1404 to 16.04

Hi,
I am running 8.7.1 on 14.04 Ubuntu.
Ubuntu keeps suggesting I upgrade to the latest LTS.
As I have never upgrade the OS of a Zimbra Server before, is there a really really really idiots guide on what to do?

Thanks and kind regards,
jB

Subject Rewrite (**SPAM**) not working.

Hi, I am running 8.7.1 on 14.04 Ubuntu. This was a fresh install with data migrated from a backup. Everything appears to work except I cannot seem to get the rewrite_subject to work to put **SPAM** in the subject field. I have a cron job running every 3 hours to train the spam and then delete it, an...

503 Errors

Hi, In other posts I asked about recovering my Zimbra system after the OS was upgraded by mistake. Following advice to reinstall the original working OS and recover the system that way, I eventually did just that. But now, I have failures with inability to login and blank admin UI. I have tried as m...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 Installed on Zimbra 8.6 Server - Help

Hi, I finally decided that the only option open to me was to reinstall Ubuntu 14.04 and recover the zimbra 8.6.0 backed up installation. After the OS install I followed the various posts and did an ./install.sh -s to rebuild the software cache without creating a functioning installation. I then dele...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 Installed on Zimbra 8.6 Server - Help

Hola Jorge, I can start the ldap server and some of the other servers via the client, but even with ldap running the install.sh script cannot connect to the ldap server as it does not pickup the configuration file. If I try an ldapsearch from root to ldapsearch -h hostname -p port it connects but wa...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 Installed on Zimbra 8.6 Server - Help

Hi britesc, Would you mind to paste us the errors you are having now trying to install 8.7 on top of your Ubuntu16, try this: ./install.sh -s That will install only the software, then after that run the installer again Didn't you had any kind of snapshot or backup? Is this environment physical or v...

Re: Ubuntu 16.04 Installed on Zimbra 8.6 Server - Help

Hi thanks for reply.
It is almost impossible to roll back an Ubuntu upgrade without serious hard work as many new programs are not reversible.

Kind regards 8-)
