May thank you BTW for your repsonses? Very apreciated.
No internally there are no firewalls or SElinux technologies running. Everything is open inside this network.
Except ofcourse the on the firewall between network and Internet.

zimbra@thinkpad:/home/admin$ host `hostname`

thinkpad.maas-martin.nl has address 10.0.0.50

Dear reader,
I may be jumping the gun here, as it seems a new version: 4.5.7 is beeing/has been created.
I'm also going through all the options already there, starting by updating the interval setting to 300.
(My server: Dual Core, 2.6Ghz, 2GB ram and 80 GB hard drive)
