Alexa hover and privacy concerns

Yea itÂ’s quite easy to forge a link. Its seems to be kind of ok in zimbra's case since it goes out to alexa for a thumbnail instead of the site its self, but still if a user was to click on the link it would open the hidden URL. There is no real good way implemented to show the user, like di...

What (currently unavailable) feature would you like to see soonest?

I'd have to agree also. Maybe the zimbra team should spend a release just working through all bugs and minor enhancments listed in buzilla instead of adding new big features. Just a quick look at the stats on bugzilla. New, Assigned, and Reopened bugs number in at 942. Plus theres a bout 72 unco...

Passwords

For those interested I wrote this simple little password generator in perl to take place of the RandomPassword java class which seems to take its sweet time on random occassions. The code in part is originally from http://www.cgi-interactive-uk.com/random_password_generator.html. I placed it in /opt...

Passwords

You call the com.zimbra.cs.util.RandomPassword java class. Any idea were I can actually find the code for that class and see what its doing and why it hangs.

Thanks,

Are there any charecter retriction, or length restrictions inherient in any area of zimbra... I'm asking because I'm reimplementing the getRandomPass sub in zmsetup as it hangs randomly in gentoo. Right now I'm using [A-Za-z0-9] and _-% # | for charecters with a defaultly 20 charecter lo...

cvs-zimbra opensuse 10/x86_64

Make sure the following lib directories are in your /etc/ld.so.conf
/opt/zimbra/mysql/lib

/opt/zimbra/cyrus-sasl-2.1.21.ZIMBRA/lib/

/opt/zimbra/openldap-2.3.21/lib
If you add something make sure to run ldconfig afterwards.

3.1 re-released

Also if you're trying to upgrade the install on FC5 with a FC4 binary. It will most likley fail, and when you try to upgrade again after manually removed the rpms, and then force the install script to think its upgrading. Well it just doesn't seem to work  So just a warning to anyo...

NEW POLL: What OS port should be next?

Arch Linux is a great OS. Maybe a build for this?

FC5 installation?

Make sure you're linking 0.9.7 versions of those libs. The lastest from FC5 is 0.9.8. I just copied the libs from a FC4 install to the FC5 /lib folder and then made the above links to those newly copied files. Otherwise with the 0.9.8 vresions of the libs, sasl will die during the initilization ...
