Using Outlook without connector - Scenarios

I'm not sure about Outlook, but many Pop clients have the option to leave messages on the server. That way you can keep the users on Outlook with Pop and they can still have the messages on the server for when they travel. Of course, they would show as unread when going online, so that may be so...

Strange Problem

Have you ever logged in with an Imap client like Thunderbird or Mail.app? I've had an issue before where some deleted items in the imap client never got fully expunged from the web client, so they would show as unread messages, but you could never find them.Edited: If you have used an imap clien...

Troubleshooting Zimbra Outage

GUI very slow

hchan, are those Macs PPC or Intel? I use a Mac all the time and haven't had any sluggishness that is really noticeable, besides login. I have an Intel Mini and Macbook at work, and a PPC Powerbook G4 at home using DSL. I also use Camino for about 90% of the time..and it does respond better than...

ZCS 5.0 has a bunch of changes to the advanced client that are supposed to take care of the sluggish issues people have had problems with. You should check out the beta. Of course, the beta may still be slower than final product because of additional debugging that might be turned on.
