ZD prevent internet access?

Is there a way to prevent zimbra desktop from being able to be used as a web browser? We have a proxy forced in our group policy but zimbra desktop appears to ignore this, so now some of our users are getting around our content rules by using zimbra desktop to browse instead of ie etc.
