Disable NE redologs for migration?

Let's say I've got 500GB of mail to migrate.I don't want to create over 500GB of archived redologs while doing the migration. Is there a way not to?Repeatedly purging redolog/archive only solves part of the problem -- presumably, the multiphase commit slows things down. Since I have copi...

DDT backup strategies for 4.5 NE

"Me too." This thread is unanswered; what did you end up with on your own?Our enterprise backups are done with Networker, but the concepts are the same.So far, my strategy looks like:Never back up the following at all:db/data index store (also skip any other primary/secondary volumes)/opt/...

HSM process completes prematurely, no compression done

I'm working on a Network Edition version 4.5.4 trial on RHEL4, 64-bit, default ext3 filesystems.Through the admin web interface, I set up a secondary volume with default settings: 30 days, compress over 4096 bytes. The default /opt/zimbra/store is part of the /opt filesystem, and I created /opt/z...

Network Edition OS choices

Fedora is not the same as RedHat Enterprise -- often very significant differences in kernels, filesystems, init process, etc.CentOS is a recompile from source and should (unlike Fedora) work exactly like RedHat Enterprise, with possible exception of clustering in a SAN environment (which is relevant...

Filter rules do not work

Relevant RFEs are bug #13774, bug #13767, bug #5963. Keyword to look for is "filters" not "rules," or just advanced search all Outlook Connector stuff.

Filter rules do not work

Did a search, didn't find anything. Just finding it hard to believe that no one else has asked.

Filter rules do not work

That's clearly true for Outlook Express (which is end-of-life anyway) but is there an existing RFE for rules support in the Outlook Connector?
At least the Out-of-Office Assistant would be really nice.

Auto-provisioning calendar data/shared calendars

I guess another obvious approach would be4) Forge iTIP invitations to the class meeting times from the course instructor to the students. But that has several issues, mainly that we don't want faculty inundated with accepts/declines. Also, a potential FERPA issue in showing the full list of stud...

Auto-provisioning calendar data/shared calendars

Oh, I hadn't realized that "Exclude this calendar when reporting free/busy times" is only for personal and imported remote calendars, not shared calendars. I though the only issue was administratively setting this option, but there ain't one. If there isn't an existing RFE for ...
