Move emails from one folder to another

There is a method I used which worked pretty well. Use thunderbird and connect to the account using IMAP. You can select a 1000+ at a time and drag them. I moved over 6000 emails in just a couple minutes this way.

COS and Dist. List backup/restore

[quote user="1542brian"]COS and DL list membership are stored in LDAP, The normal backup routines handle these.[/QUOTE]Ok, well, maby I'm missing something then. I did a full backup and kept the backup dir on a seperately mounted drive. Uninstalled and reinstalled zimbra. Restored from...

COS and Dist. List backup/restore

I noticed that the backup and restore function doesn't backup the COS and Distribution lists. I found this out the hard way and am in the process of rebuilding all my dist. lists. Is there a way to do this cleanly? Seems like a big omission to have in the back function. BTW, I've searched fo...

[SOLVED] ICS file importing as read-only

You can close this, I figured it out. My imported events were marked with an organizer that had a different email address than the account being imported into. I needed to do a search/replace on the ICS file prior to import to make sure the appointment organizer matches the destination Zimbra accoun...

[SOLVED] ICS file importing as read-only

I have some ICS files that are generated by my existing calendar system that seem to import just fine into Zimbra, however, after the import, the appointments cannot be edited. They also show up in the calendar as darker color shade than an appointment created IN Zimbra. For example, An appointment ...

32Bit or 64bit?

I haven't seen any definitive recommendation either way on this, so I'll ask. I'm planning on purchasing the NE version within the next couple of months and migrate our current inhouse email system over. I have a dual Xeon server with 3GB of ram and will be housing about 50 users from th...

[solved] (sort of) Open Calendar Appointment Causes Browser to lock up

I'm getting this as well. I can reproduce it by Creating a local calendar appointment and adding a resource to the location field. My user has been given management rights to the resource. After creating the appointment, I see the appointment entry show up twice (once for local and once for the ...

Conversation display and sorting

I didn't see that bug, thank you. I would rather just see the whole conversation from the Parent (oldest) and go down the list to the most recent regardless of the number of messages. It's much easier to see the conversation progress and understand. If I double click a conversation, then rev...

Conversation display and sorting

I've been looking at the conversation view in the latest v5 and it seems to be less intuitive than it was previously for a couple of reasons. 1. When expanding a conversation, it shows the initial email twice. Once as the main "parent" then again at the bottom of the conversation list....

Beta 5 Hosted Demo?

Fantastic. We've been doing internal tests here, but our test server currently has other priorities and cannot be used for Zimbra right now. The demo pages are a good tool.
