Re: sender missing when the users try to answer the mails.

Hello how are you? I am looking for information about a strange behavior that I have noticed in zimbra. The version we are using is: Release 8.6.0_GA_1153.RHEL6_64_20141215151155 RHEL6_64 FOSS edition, Patch 8.6.0_P4. It happens when, for example, "user1" send an email to any distribution...

Can you please file a bug at https://bugzilla.zimbra.com with exact reproduction steps? Thanks.

Re: Brute force attack

When someone connects to postfix to auth, it generates a SOAP auth request. So what is likely happening is someone is trying to brute force against postfix. If you use something like fail2ban to block IP addresses slamming postfix, your SOAP calls should go away. I.e., you're attempting to tackle th...

Thx jorgedicruz, but the error persists, and the program in Delphi is not my. I added the IP of the machine (internet) and still keeps giving "relay access denied" zimbra@mail:~/postfix/conf$ zmprov gs `zmhostname` zimbraMtaMyNetworks # name `my hostname` zimbraMtaMyNetworks: 127.0.0.0/8 ...

Re: Preventing spoofed email

My server is running 8.6. How can I tell whether or not DMARC is enabled and running? Zimbra uses SpamAssassin to flag anything that fails DMARC as a high probability SPAM. So there is nothing you have to do for DMARC to be "running" in 8.6, if you are using the Zimbra MTA with antispam i...

Re: Ubuntu Upgrade from 12.04 with Zimbra 8.6 with all patches to Ubuntu 14.04

You can try the original 8.6 release, then apply the patch on top of it. That will likely work. Or you can wait for ZCS 8.7 to release. ;) Sorry to butt in here, but I've got sort of an extension to the question - We're currently running Release 8.6.0.GA.1153.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 NETWORK edition...
