I wouldn't call the issue solved, but I was able to create a new user for the person, renamed the old account, and then use zimbraMigrate to transfer the data over to the new account. She is now able to login using Advanced Mode with the new account. I've archived the old account incase she ...

Yeah. That was the first thing I tried...
Basically, FF doesn't report any errors, just sits there. If the user tries IE6/7 they get the initial error I posted.

Since you are using the Open Source edition, you won't be able to rebrand Zimbra to what you're wanting to do (legally that is). The Network Edition of Zimbra allows for rebranding, and has instructions available on what needs to be done.

I solved the problem. Wound up having to totally delete the zimbra installation and start from scratch and re-install. Basically, there's no way to go back if your java install for zimbra goes south for the winter. Java was working fine for everything else on my machine, just not for the Zimbra ...
