Sudden high cpu on zimbra/mysqld/java
Hello, Today I noticed my VM server cooling fan starting up, which is a sure tell sign that a process is running amok. I found that indeed zimbra processes mysqld and java were using 100% cpu. This is unusual for this zimbra server - normally very low cpu usage On internet's advice, I increased the ...

Re: [Solved] problem with open relay - caused by simple reason
thank you, rcvr for pointing me to the right solution. I recently discovered my zimbra setup was acting like an open relay. the root of the issue is, that, in the past, I had to circumvent an ISP restriction that disabled public port 25. That restriction has been lifted since, but the configuration ...

Zimbra as NDR Spam source
@Klug : thanks for your reply. my system is 8.5.1, so the modification resumes to : 'zmlocalconfig -e postfix_smtpd_reject_unlisted_recipient=yes' a testmail to a invalid address was rejected, not discarded/dropped. Meaning an NDR was sent back to the originating sender unless I'm mistak...

Can zimbra Network starter edtion 8.0.7 upgraded to v8.5?
Not having heard from Sales yet, I've made a VM copy of my server
During the upgrade -which is running now -, the license file is accepted.
So: Starter Edition license is valid for v8.5.1
best regards

I'm running zimbra 807 network starter edition on ubuntu 12

Has Pricing become a secret ?
Hi,I cannot seem to locate the pricing info on Zimbra Starter Edition. An inquiry to sales@zimbra.com has remained unanswered. As our own license was bought 2 years ago from VMware, I know what the pricing is, or rather, was. But this license is part of a customer proposal, so I need the current inf...

Popfile as spam-preprocessor to Zimbra?
Hello, I'm looking for an alternative to the default spam handling on Zimbra. Too much messages keeps getting through. Before I switched to Zimbra, I used Popfile as spamfilter. It was very powerful and I remember abandoning it as a minus to the decision to go Zimbra. While it is originally a pop...
