Restoring a File to a Shared Mailbox

OK, Mike. I tried this first (sanitized a bit): zmrestore -a mystores@domain.com -ca -pre tempError executing redoOpand then this: zmrestore -s mail.myserver.com -a mystores@domain.com -restoreToTime 20080604.000000 -lb full-20080603.080124.073 -ca -pre restored_using restore to time of 2008/06/04 0...

Restoring a File to a Shared Mailbox

OK, thanks, Mike. That did the trick mostly. I didn't get the last few days of E-mail, though. I got an error on the CLI: "Error executing redoOp"
Any idea why (and does that explain why I'm still missing a few days of E-mail?)

Restoring a File to a Shared Mailbox

Hi. I have a mailbox that shares folders to many users (as managers). One of my folders accidentally got cleared, and I would like to restore it using Zimbra's NE Backup and Restore Functionality, but I'm not sure how to just restore one folder in an account. Any help?

Combining Common Accounts

The need for this came sooner than expected - I've got to make it work today. It may be ugly, though. Let me tack on a question about filters, too. If I run a filter for a "to" that contains one of my store usernames: (eg. store1@mydomain.com) to put it in a specific folder, and anothe...

Combining Common Accounts

OK. I have a Zimbra server that I use for a retail store chain. I started out with Zimbra last summer, and I am still using the same virtual server that I started out with. I started out with a Zimbra Open Source 4.5 server on a 8 GB expandable virtual hard drive. I now run ZCS 5.0.5 (and am upgradi...

Multiple users on a Mac

Hi. I'm a Windows/Linux sysadmin, and I'm using a Mac for a few weeks to get acquainted with the OS so that I can support some of our company's execs, who would like to use Macs. Anyway, I've set up a user account on this Macbook for myself, and for the executive who will eventually ...

Mac Toaster does not install properly

Nope, no offense. I just wanted to clarify, and to help make sure that we keep the same positive additude on these forums that you and I have already enjoyed. I also have found people here to be exceptionally helpful. I agree - I want everything to be idiot-proof when I push it out.

Mac Toaster does not install properly

Wow. I might take issue with the tech savvy remark - lots of the folks here administrate Zimbra Servers. While that may be remarkably easier than dealing with any number of other E-mail servers, it is still no insignificant task. I think that the real issue here may well be that the users on these f...

Mac Toaster does not install properly

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think to ask that same question myself. Appreciate the tip - works great!
