Re: Sender Based Relay

Nice work!

I think this will be a powerful option to have in the toolbox. I had been using transport maps which were based on recipients addresses to my own mail relays for some edge cases so I am happy to know this method too.

Re: Printing address labels

I had a customer who imported over 8000 contacts from outlook. Later he discovered, he wanted them filed in a different order. We searched but could not find a method so I did something like this for him. zmmailbox -z -m user@example.com gact | zimbra-contacts-fileAs.pl where zimbra-contacts-fileAs....

Re: Move message with attached file .zip to Junk Folder

I think there are quite a few ways to do this. Zimbra itself has some code that appears to look for zip attachments in spamassassin... I have not tested this but I believe __ZIP_ATTACH_NOFN will be set for a zip attachment. That is because I see this: ifplugin Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::MIMEHeader ...

This thread should help... https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=60746 Briefly, you need this. It is documented in this link: https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Enabling_Zimbra_Proxy_and_memcached#Protocol_Requirements_Including_HTTPS_Redirect zmprov md example.com zimbraPublicServicePort 443...

Re: Sender Based Relay

Suggestion: You might try adding additional logging to main.cf

debug_peer_list=smtp.gmail.com
debug_peer_level=3

postfix reload

I have been meaning to give this a try so your post is a good starting point for me.

Re: Zimbra 8.6 to zimbra 8.7: "Some services are not running"

I did an identical upgrade this morning and had the exact same problem you mentioned. FWIW, resetting the logger db cleared both those problems you mentioned including that second set of weird local entries for the gui status which surprised me as I hadn't seen that one before. ;-) I was on a patche...

Re: Another Letsencrypt method

I ran this script today with very little thought. It had worked perfectly on my test boxes and the few production box's I have. This morning, I completed my last 8.6+ upgrade to 8.7.1. I commented out the last debug statement prior to zmcertmgr so I could abort should the cert not verify. Cert verif...

Sudo stuff looks good... file sizes look good. I haven't seen this before so not a lot of experience with this type of failure. Generally the logs have quite a bit of information. ls -ld /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/work/ drwxrwxr-x 8 zimbra zimbra 4096 Nov 3 09:55 /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/work/ I don't have a ...

Re: Another Letsencrypt method

I've been putt ing off getting a letsencrypt certificate simply because of the hoops you had to jump through getting it installed. Your writeup seems much more straightforward so I'll give this a go in the next few weeks, thanks for posting this. :) That is what stopped me Too. Before I knew it the...

Another Letsencrypt method

Thought I would share a method that I prefer over installing and allowing the letsencrypt software to take over my zimbra host. For those users that don't want to install loads of python code and other associated and required software, this might be preferable. It does not require root. I had looked...
